Associated Press Boston, July 5, 1979 (Reuters Health) A study shows that the new antihypertensive drug, SQ20881, lowers blood pressure and at the same time enhances renal function, which is reduced by high blood pressure. Hypertensive kidney often can not filter the blood as impurities, like normal kidneys, while several currently available antihypertensive drugs are often to further reduce renal function.
