The effectiveness of finite element method in structural mechanics of vehicles has been confirmed. In addition to the economy of the problem solving and the quantity and quality of the calculated results, the speed at which the various changes are accurately evaluated has further demonstrated the superiority of the finite element method. Simple finite elements have found commonality in the application of static, dynamic and temperature analysis of structural mechanics of vehicles.
