The Cosmos God 5-401 launch vehicle of the UNAMA Alliance launched the NASA “MAVEN” detector at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on November 18, 2013. The probe was built by Lockheed Martin. The MAVEN project costs a total of 671 million U.S. dollars, including the construction, launch and 1-year operation of the detector. It aims to study the history of Mars’s climate change and to see how this red planet has changed from an environment that is at least suitable for the survival of microbes to the present cold, dry and inhospitable environment. This is the second time humans have sent detectors to Mars in less than two weeks after India launched its first Mars rover “Mars ship” on November 5. As planned, MAVEN will enter orbit Mars on September 22, 2014 after 10 months
