学习风格是学习者在学习中表现出来的一种整体的、持久的、并具有个性化的认知方式和处理信息的方式。不同的学习者往往有不同的学习风格。随着教育领域的研究重点由教学法转向学习过程和学习者,学习风格越来越受到教师们的关注。大学英语的教学目标是培养学生综合应用能力,而阅读能力是语言学习中至关重要的能力。在CET-4(大学英语四级考试)中阅读理解所占分值比例为35%。本文通过分析湖北大学知行学院64名非英专学生的CET-4阅读成绩与其学习风格之间的关系来例证学习风格在英语学习中的重要性,为提高非英专学生英语阅读能力提供帮助。
Learning style is a holistic, enduring, and personalized way of learning that learners demonstrate in their learning. Different learners often have different learning styles. As the focus of research in education has shifted from pedagogy to learning processes and learners, learning styles have drawn increasing attention from teachers. The goal of college English teaching is to develop students’ comprehensive ability to apply, and reading ability is the most important ability in language learning. The percentage of reading comprehension in CET-4 (CET 4) is 35%. This paper analyzes the importance of learning style in English learning by analyzing the relationship between CET-4 reading proficiency and learning style of 64 non-college students in Zhi Xing College of Hubei University to help improve non-English majors’ English reading ability.
