《人生象斅》是鲁迅1909年在浙江两级师范学堂任教时编写的生理学讲义,篇幅较长,约十一万字,可它长期不为人所知;直到1952年,才被收在唐弢辑录的《鲁迅全集补遗续编》之中1。目前,学界基本将《人生象斅》视为鲁迅凭借留学日本期间所学医学知识而撰写的教材。然而,笔者在查阅相关资料时,发现《人生象斅》实际上是一部参照了日本医学士宫岛满治的《解剖生理及衛生》而编译的作品。据《鲁迅手迹和藏书目录》的日文部分可知,鲁迅
“Life Like a Tail” is a physiology handout written by Lu Xun in Zhejiang Normal College in 1909, covering a long period of about 110,000 words, but it has long been unknown; until 1952, it was accepted by Tang Tao Encyclopedia of Lu Xun’s Supplement to the Continuation Supplement 1 At present, the academic community basically regards “life like elephants” as a textbook written by Lu Xun with medical knowledge learned during her studies in Japan. However, when I looked up the relevant information, I found that “Life Like Elephant” was actually a work compiled with reference to “Anatomy, Physiology and Hygiene” of the Japanese medical doctor, Miyajima Manjushri.
