中国的现代旅游业兴起于20世纪50年代早期。1978年以来随着改革开放,通过鼓励入境旅游,中国的旅游业进入新的发展阶段。自那时以来,中国入境旅游业得到了飞速发展,越来越多的外国朋友选择来到中国旅游。然而不幸的是,外国游客一直在旅游过程中感觉受挫,因为在目前的涉外导游词翻译文本以及景点讲解过程中有太多的缺陷和问题。事实上,国内学者已经注意到在翻译领域中涉外导游词翻译这一严峻的形势。他们中的大多数人已经开始相应的工作,本文试图讨论目前就导游词的文本类型特点出发的涉外导游词翻译,以期有更多的人参与到这一领域的工作中来。
China’s modern tourism rose in the early 1950s. With the reform and opening up since 1978, China’s tourism industry has entered a new stage of development by encouraging inbound tourism. Since then, China’s inbound tourism industry has seen rapid growth, with more and more foreign friends choosing to travel to China. Unfortunately, however, foreign tourists have been frustrated by the travel process, as there are too many deficiencies and problems in the current translation of texts and attractions. In fact, domestic scholars have noticed the severe situation of translation of foreign tourist guide words in the field of translation. Most of them have begun to work accordingly. This paper attempts to discuss the current translation of foreign tourist guides on the text type characteristics of tour guide words, in order to attract more people to work in this field.
