I. INTRODUCTION Nisan (1977) reported that he observed the electromagnetic radiation accompanying the micro-cracking of piezoelectric ores. Hoenig & Itani (1979) also reported on the generation of current in a sample due to rupture of the rock and ceramic. In our opinion, some of the above may be the result of some electromagnetic phenomena caused by earthquakes or similar rock ruptures and have been tested on this. We observed the gravel field in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture and observed the short-period change of ground potential accompanied by gravel blasting and ground motion. The rock crusher shatters the shale with 100-200 kg of yellow explosives each time, and we set the electrodes very close to the blast point for observation.
