The Victorian British Empire not only reached its peak in the industrial revolution but also enjoyed great social and economic prosperity. In the literary world, a large number of prominent writers emerged. With vivid brush strokes, they depict the social customs at that time, and their works are read by heart. When you look at the portraits of beautiful women in many of these works, they are often referred to as rosy cheeks - (hereinafter referred to as ’rosy cheeks’), and the beautiful and moving beauty is caused by lung disease. Not only that, this morbid beauty has been manifested in literary works of various countries in Europe and the world.
