关于中央人民政府成立典礼,流行的说法是,毛泽东率领全体中央人民政府委员会委员登上天安门城楼。但是,查阅《中央人民政府委员会会议记录》后发现,在这一天召开的政府委员会第一次会议和举行政府成立典礼时,中央人民政府委员会的56名委员,实际上并不都在北京。其中:彭德怀、叶剑英、林彪、邓子恢分别在前线指挥作战;徐向前在青岛养病;饶漱石在上海;康生在济南;林枫在沈阳;习仲勋在西安;龙云与李章达均在香港。因此,毛泽东不可能率全体政府委员登上天安门。
With regard to the founding ceremony of the Central People’s Government, the popular saying is that Mao Zedong led all members of the Central People’s Government Committee to board the Tiananmen Square watchtower. However, referring to the minutes of the CPG meeting, it was found that during the first meeting of the government committees held this day and the inauguration of the government, 56 members of the CPG were not actually in Beijing. Among them: Peng Dehuai, Ye Jianying, Lin Biao and Deng Zicheng respectively commanded the frontline operations; Xu Xiangqian recuperated in Qingdao; Rao Shushi was in Shanghai; Kang Sheng was in Jinan; Lin Feng was in Shenyang; Xi Zhongxun was in Xi’an; both Long Yun and Li Zhangda were in Hong Kong. Therefore, it is impossible for Mao Zedong to take all the members of the government to board the Tiananmen Square.
