离子交换树脂的合成自1935年第一次发表后,发展非常迅速。已先后生产并大量应用的,属于阳离子交换树脂方面的有:磺酸型强酸性离子交换树脂和羧基型弱酸性离子变换树脂;属于阴离子变换树脂方面的有:季胺型强碱性离子交换树脂和伯胺、仲胺及叔胺型弱碱性离子交换树脂。最近几年来,经科学家们的努力,已先后合成了各种新型的离子交换树脂,今分别叙述于下。(Ⅰ)阳离子交换树脂阳离子交换树脂除上述二种类型外,又有新的类型在逐漸发展中,比较成熟而发表较多的是
