2003年5月,中央决定在山东、湖南和贵州三省开展农村党员干部现代远程教育试点工作。省委、省政府高度重视,认真按照中央要求,精心安排部署,圆满完成了先期试点工作任务。截至去年底,全省已建农村党员干部现代远程教育终端接收站点17900多个,覆盖全省三分之二的村,累计培训农村党员干部和农民群众2000余万人次,远程教育试点工作取得了明显成效。今年5月,中央电视台《焦点访谈》栏目派记者深入我省三个试点市州,对农村党员干部现代远程教育试点工作进行专题采访,于7月2日播出后,引起强烈反响。应广大读者要求,本刊将此报道转载,内容辑录如下。
In May 2003, the Central Committee decided to launch a pilot program of modern distance education for Party members and cadres in rural areas in Shandong, Hunan and Guizhou provinces. The provincial party committee and the provincial government attached great importance to it and conscientiously arranged the deployment in accordance with the requirements of the Central Committee and successfully completed the tasks of the pilot experiment. As of the end of last year, the province has built more than 17,900 modern remote education terminals for rural party members and cadres, covering two-thirds of the province’s villages and accumulatively training more than 20 million Party members and farmers in rural areas and peasants, and piloted distance education programs Obvious results.
