急性会厌炎是耳鼻喉科常见急症之一,此病来势凶猛,发展快,如诊治不及时常致喉梗阻或窒息死亡。年老体弱机体抵抗力差易致感染扩散,预后脸恶。本文报告两例老年糖尿病合并急性会厌炎死亡病例。【例1】男性,61岁,住院号220622。因发热、咽痛、喉部堵塞感5天,右颈部肿胀1天,于1989年5月1日入院。患者入院前5天,发热、咽痛,按上呼吸道感染治疗无效,因喉部堵塞感、憋气来医院急诊。4月28日在急诊室
Acute epiglottitis is one of the common emergency of otolaryngology, the disease ferocious, rapid development, such as lack of diagnosis and treatment often caused by laryngeal obstruction or suffocation. Elderly vulnerable to poor body resistance easily lead to spread of infection, the prognosis of evil face. This article reports the death of two elderly diabetic patients with acute epiglottitis. [Example 1] Male, 61 years old, hospital number 220622. Due to fever, sore throat, throat congestion for 5 days, right neck swelling 1 day, on May 1, 1989 admission. Patients admitted to hospital 5 days before, fever, sore throat, upper respiratory tract infection treatment ineffective, due to throat blockage, suffocation to the hospital emergency room. April 28 in the emergency room
