Power Supply in the Old West District of Anhui Province The Power Supply Bureau in Anhui Liu’an District Zhang Dahe and Liu Dongsheng in the west of the Dabie Mountains are part of the Dabie Mountains’ old revolutionary base area. The poor geographical environment, inconvenient transportation, and the impoverishment of the people’s livelihood still leave some villages without electricity. In 1994, the Power Supply Bureau of Lu’an District organized 80 power-free villages to be energized during the year in accordance with the power-requiring requirements of the province’s Electric Power Bureau at the beginning of the year.
