In the 1988 college entrance examination questions, the design of the comprehensive reading question in modern Chinese texts was flawed and did not reflect the characteristics of language tests. The design of this question pays attention to the inter-disciplinary infiltration. For example, it has infiltrated historical knowledge (the content of the text is about ancient Chinese culture), mathematical knowledge (axis in the figure), and biological knowledge (indicated by a tree). From this point of view, the test questions also carry the comprehensiveness of knowledge in each subject and the meaning of the proposition.
