20世纪的社会主义实践本质上是落后国家运用社会主义方式实现现代化目标的历史进程,而关于这一历史运动的理论意识却长期处于滞后状态。理论的落后意味着实践的盲目,而理论落后的根源则在于以教条主义的态度对待马克思主义,以政治上的功利取舍经典作家的理论遗产,从而窒息了许多富有生机的思想源泉,其中,马克思和恩格斯关于社会主义现代化问题的理论探索就是一个长期遭到忽略和曲解,未能随着实践的发展
The socialist practice of the 20th century is essentially a historical process of underdeveloped countries' realization of the goal of modernization by means of socialism. However, the theoretical awareness of this historical movement has lagged behind for a long time. The backwardness of theory means the blindness of practice. The root of theoretical backwardness is that it treats Marxism with a dogmatic attitude and sequesters the theoretical heritage of classical writers with political utilitarianism, thus suffocating many rich sources of ideas. Among them, Marx And Engels's theoretical exploration on the issue of socialist modernization is a long ignored and misunderstood, not with the development of practice
