方厚枢,1927年生,安徽巢湖人。少时因家境清寒,初中未毕业即辍学就业。从1943年4月进商务印书馆南京分馆为练习生起,至今一直在出版系统工作。1956年参加中国共产党。1980年后,历任国家出版局研究室副主任、文化部出版局编刊处处长、中国出版科学研究所副所长等职。1987年被国家新闻出版署授予编审职称。是中国出版工作者协会理事兼副秘书长、中国年鉴研究会副会长兼学术工作委员会主任、北京市语言学会常务理事。
Fang Houshu, born in 1927, Anhui Chaohu people. Little because of family cold, junior high school did not graduate from school and dropped out of employment. From April 1943 into the Commercial Press Nanjing Branch for practitioners, has been publishing system work. In 1956 to participate in the Chinese Communist Party. After 1980, he served successively as Deputy Director of the Research Laboratory of the State Press Bureau, Director of the Press Office of the Publishing Department of the Ministry of Culture, and Deputy Director of the China Institute of Publishing Science. In 1987 by the State Press and Publication Administration awarded the title. He is the director and deputy secretary general of China Association of Publishers, the vice president and director of academic yearbook of China Yearbook Research Association, and the executive director of Beijing Language Institute.
