Have you ever seen the “colonnade”? There is a real colonnade with columns arranged without pillars. It is a prelude to the main entrance to the rehearsal/video hall of the television center. Most of the buildings in the TV center are in a semi-subterranean state, with only four square boxes projecting on a “slope” that slopes from west to east - it is the roof of the TV center. Judging from the overall composition effect, the TV center consists of two parts. One is the outdoor “roof” pedestrian area, which is the “public” part; the first is the television center, which is the “private” part, hidden under the “slope”. The internal functions are divided into three use areas, which are linked by different transportation routes. As shown on the floor plan, on the left is a series of warehouses, garages, workshops and maintenance groups; in the middle are four rehearsal/video halls and their auxiliary rooms; on the right are various offices and staff restaurants. There is a clear division of labor on the internal transportation road. The left side of the rehearsal/video hall is a service line, and on the right is the main traffic line, the central passage. The two traffic lines (walls, doors, floors, aisles, etc.) use different materials and colors.
