Tainan, a 370-year-old city, also known as “Fucheng”. The land that the ancestors of this continent first set foot upon arrival in Taiwan, the stronghold of Cheng’s successful recovery of Taiwan, is regarded as an important birthplace of Taiwan’s history and culture. Tainan, which is dominated by fisheries, agriculture and commerce, has become the starting point for Taiwan’s economic prosperity and development, rooted in Taiwan’s Tainan and fortified with its unique ports and the fertile Chiannan Plain.
