Among the various clinical manifestations of nephrotic syndrome, an increase in glomerular capillary wall permeability is a major factor, but its mechanism of production is poorly understood. In recent years, some studies have suggested that peripheral blood cells (PBC) of patients with nephrotic syndrome can produce a vascular permeability enhancer (VPF). In this paper, peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with nephropathy and non-nephropathy with different glomerular lesions were tested for their ability to produce VPF after stimulation with Jack-A (Con-A) in vitro.
