范畴化是认知语言学研究的核心内容,是人类认知世界及思想作用世界的重要的认知工具。其主要包括原型范畴理论和基本层次范畴理论,与二语词汇习得紧密相连,为学生学习英语提供更有效的方法,尤其对词汇习得有很好的指导作用。本文通过对范畴原型理论及层级理论的介绍,分析了该理论可以用于指导英语词汇教学,达到扩大词汇量并活学活用的目的。
Categorization is the core content of cognitive linguistics and is an important cognitive tool for the world of human cognition and the world of ideas. It mainly includes the prototype category theory and the basic level category theory, which are closely linked with second-language vocabulary acquisition and provide students with more effective ways to learn English, especially for the acquisition of vocabulary. Through the introduction of Category Prototype Theory and Hierarchical Theory, this paper analyzes that the theory can be used to guide the teaching of English vocabulary and achieve the purpose of expanding vocabulary and living and learning.
