位于沅水河畔、沅陵县城天宁山的沅陵中医男性病医院,是一所具有男性病专科特色的综合性中医医院。现有在职职工252人,有卫生技术人员204人,占总人数的80.9％。其中有副主任医药师5人,主治医药护师21人。医院占地面积22000m~2,建筑面积13399m~2。病床300张,开设有男性科、生发科、内、外、妇等22个临床医技科室。固定资产592.7万元,其中医疗设备价值100万元。由享受政府特殊津贴、全国优秀卫生工作者、湖南省劳动模范、中华全国中医男性病学专业委员会副主任、中医男科副主任医师刘明汉同志担任院长。 该院前身是沅陵县中医院,创建于1957年,是仅凭几间租借的木板房和3个指头而发展起来的。70年代末仍然是以中医内科为主,设备简陋,门庭
