Caused by the lack of hardness after quenching, but the following four reasons: 1. The material is not on the use of non-alloying elements of the steel when the wrong alloy steel, or use of low carbon steel when the high carbon steel quenched harden, mostly quenched not hard. For example, 45 steel and 40Cr, T10 and GCr15 sometimes easily confused. 40Cr, GCr15 as 45 steel, T10 quenching does not expose the problem, which in turn is often quenching not hard. 2. Surface carbon removal If the heating time is too long in an air oven or a poorly deoxidized salt oven (eg, large parts, long heating time)
