Rice sheath blight, also known as moire disease, is infected by Rhizoctonia solani and occurs mostly under high temperature and high humidity. It mainly damages rice leaf sheath, causing lodging or premature aging, which leads to the decrease of yield. It is the main disease affecting high and stable yield of rice one. In recent years, rice sheath blight occurred in Tieli City, Heilongjiang Province, with an increasing area.
