编纂新方志,尤其在我们党领导的社会革命、社会发展和社会改革方面,应力求深刻全面地反映历史。这一点做得怎样,直接关系到地方志能否如实反映历史的本来面目,关系到志书的政治质量。因此,在修志中,必须以对历史高度负责的态度,严格遵循实事求是的原则,无论对成绩还是对失误的记述,都既不夸大,又不缩小,历史的足迹是什么样,记述到志书中去的也决不能走样。这样的地方志才能更好地发挥出“承前启后,继往开来,服务当代,有益后世”的作用。
To compile a new chronicles, especially in the social revolutions, social developments and social reforms led by our party, we should strive to reflect history profoundly and comprehensively. How this is done is directly related to whether the local history can accurately reflect the true colors of history and the political quality of the books. Therefore, in the process of compiling records, we must strictly follow the principle of seeking truth from facts in the attitude of being highly responsible to history, and neither exaggerate nor correct the errors or omissions. What is the footprints of history? Never go in the sample. Such a local history can better exert the function of “inheriting the past and opening up, serving the contemporary and beneficial future generations”.
