东川彩云石是最近发现的新石种,主要成份为铁、铝等矿物元素,摩氏硬度为7度。东川彩云石系火山喷发的产物,后经自然风化和雨水冲刷,在滚动中沉积,石面光滑圆润,一般呈桔红色,间或浅黄或紫色云纹,色彩对比鲜明,故名彩云石。《彩云飞》高33cm,宽23cm,厚9cm,石面展示的是晚霞的天空,白云朵朵。千变万化的白云,在石面右部幻化出一只似虎又似鼠的动物,令人遐想;片片白云,也被晚霞染成淡红色,零乱分布在天空中,布局虽略显零乱,但
