炼钢电弧炉在熔炼过程中,从高温熔池中逸出大量烟气和粉尘。这些烟尘危害性极大,能腐蚀厂房、设备,影响职工身体健康,必须排除净化。目前,电弧炉排烟有炉内排烟、炉外排烟两种,这两种排烟方式已被广泛应用。但是这两种排烟方式各有利弊,炉内排烟需要的风量小、投资少,但是仍有少量烟气外逸,特别是还原期内要保持炉内正压的还原气氛,此时炉内排烟只能暂停,造成烟气外逸;炉外排烟需要的抽风量大,甚至整台电炉都需要采取密闭措施,给炼钢操作带来不便。针对上述情况,我们于1982年为新建的一台五吨高架式电弧炉设计安装了一套炉内、外双排烟净化装
