为鼓励和支持青年劳动卫生工作者的积极性和创新精神,中华医学会四川分会劳动卫生与职业病分科学会于二月十二日召开了主任、副主任委员扩大会,对一批热心于劳动卫生工作的青年提出的“青年劳动卫生工作者学术研讨会”的建议进行了讨论,并作出了决议,将名称定为“中华医学会四川分会劳动卫生职业病分科学会青年学组”。制定了学组工作细则,学组活动以开展劳动安全、劳动卫生与职业病防治、管理的专业学术活动为中心。
