2014年5月,“小百花”迎来了她“30”周岁的生日。五月下旬在杭州,“小百花三十而立”庆祝活动首站圆满落幕,6月24至29日将“移师”北京国家大剧院:3个剧目5场演出,再掀又一轮“庆生”热潮。1982年,浙江小百花越剧团前身“浙江小百花赴港演出团”成立,在轰动香江的演出中,越剧之乡第一次向世人展示“浙江制造”的青春魅力;1984年,“小百花”正式成立,应文化部邀请进京参加新中国成立35周年献礼演出,在中南海的海棠树下,邓颖超和小百花的演职人员合影留念,并亲笔题词:“不骄不满,才能进步,精益求精,后来居上。”
