On the basis of combing the development of “tourism geography” curriculum, this paper analyzes the content of teaching materials of tourism geography from 1988 to three types of system theory, sectoral theory and resource theory, and points out that “tourism Geography ”textbook content problems. Based on my long-term teaching of “Tourism Geography” and the practice of socio-cultural geography research, I put forward my thinking on how to reconstruct the teaching material of “Tourism Geography”. “Tourism geography” is one of the compulsory courses for colleges and universities, including geography and tourism management. It is also one of the important elective courses in other related disciplines. It occupies an important position in the teaching curriculum system.
