研究在本所试验基点即福清县东张茶树良种场进行,通过相关,回归及通径等数理统计,分析十六个小乔木型无性繁殖新品系品比试验五年资料,结果表明:茶树幼年期,它的树幅、定型叶片长度、茎粗度和第二轮一芽三叶梢重量(第一轮梢留一大叶采一芽二叶)等是选择高产株系四个最显著经济性状,可作为子代群体早期选择高产单株的主要指标;第二轮一芽三叶梢重量的轻重对产量效应最大,其次是茎粗度;明确了这四个经济性状与产量间的直接,间接效应关系;在本试验分析系统中,这四个经济性状可以决定产量变异的82.64%;利用回归方程计算理论产量名次和实际测产名次,两者相差二个位次的拟合率达68.75%。由于仅根据一个品比试验五年资料进行数理统计,其结果尚有不足之处,有待进一步验证。
