The N=82 136Ba nucleus has a proton number between the Z=50 and Z=64 shell closures. Thus it is interesting to obtain detailed spectroscopic information on low-lying states in 136Ba. Such experimental information is important to achieve a unified description of nuclei based on shell model with multiparticle space.
