我连续三次去美国考察中学思想品德课教育情况。美国思想品德课本叫《公民与社会》,细看后,感觉有两个旋律:一是把美国宪法和《独立宣言》等强调的自立自强等所谓“美国精神”作为最高经典进行灌输;二是宣扬美国的三权分立政治制度和民主、自由、平等、博爱的价值观念。我想,作为头号资本主义强国,这些观念为世人共知,并不稀奇!但他们的教育方式却引起了我的注意。
I went to the United States three times in a row to inspect the education of ideological and moral education in secondary schools. The ideological and moral textbooks of the United States are called “citizens and society”. After a closer look, they feel that there are two melodies: First, indoctrinate the so-called “American spirit”, such as the United States Constitution and “Declaration of Independence,” which emphasizes self-reliance and self-improvement, as the highest classic; The second is to promote the United States’ separation of powers and the values of democracy, freedom, equality, and fraternity. I think, as the number one capitalist power, these concepts are known to the world, and it is not surprising that their education methods have drawn my attention.
