In the art market chain, galleries are an integral part. The gallery as a primary market should have been the protagonist. In the real situation, the gallery is in a rather awkward position and its role is weakened. As a painter of artwork creators, however, it has taken the lead in pioneering the market. It is bound to cause business chaos. The establishment of a price system should be a serious matter. The unclear status of galleries and painters makes the market a heap of irrational confusion. Coupled with collectors, investors and the vast majority of art consumers, the price factor has become the focus of contradictions. It seems the market norms, the need for standardized mode of operation, gallery agency is imperative. The magazine invites part-time galleries throughout the country to discuss the issues of concern to all.
