1982年4月14日下午2时37分,宁夏回族自治区海原县发生了5.7级地震,震中在宁夏回族目治区海原县蒿川公社(北纬36度47分,东经105度18分)。经调查初步确定,七度区长轴15公里,短轴6公里,面积约70平方公里,呈北北西方向展布,另有一个七度异常区约9平方公里。六度区长轴33公里,短轴21公里,面积约540平方公里。由极震区烈度分布和地震震源机制解(见下表)综合判断,这次地震的发震构造,其走向为北北西方向。
On April 14, 1982, at 2:37 pm, a magnitude 5.7 earthquake occurred in Haiyuan County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The epicenter was at Artemisia Chuan commune, Haiyuan County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (36 degrees 47 north latitude, 105 degrees 18 east longitude). After preliminary investigation, the seventh-degree district has a long axis of 15 kilometers and a short-axis of 6 kilometers with an area of about 70 square kilometers. It is distributed northwest and northwest and another seven degrees anomalous area is about 9 square kilometers. Sixth District long axis 33 km, 21 km short axis, an area of about 540 square kilometers. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the seismic intensity distribution of the quake zone and the focal mechanism solution of the earthquake (see the table below), the seismogenic structure of this earthquake is oriented north and southwest.
