中国的象牙雕刻艺术有着极其悠久的历史,始于新石器时代。在北京黄土坡出土的战国墓中发现过象牙梳子。辽、金、元、明、清历代帝王都把象牙作为皇家供品。象牙雕刻艺术品,以坚实细密、色泽柔润、质地光滑、雕工精美,备受收藏家珍爱。
China’s ivory carving art has a very long history, began in the Neolithic Age. Ivory combs were found in the Warring States Period unearthed in the loess slope in Beijing. Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties have the ivory as a royal offering. Ivory carving works of art, with solid and dense, soft color, smooth texture, carving beautiful, much collector’s treasure.
