The problems of agriculture, rural areas and peasants have always been the fundamental issue of China’s economic construction. Rural health work is also a strategic focus of our country’s health reform and development. The cooperative medical system plays an important role in ensuring that peasants have access to basic health services and alleviating the peasants’ poverty caused by illness and returning to illness due to illness.
