Objective To explore the effect of chromosome polymorphism on embryonic development outcome and pregnancy outcome during assisted reproduction. Methods The chromosomal karyotypes and clinical data of 626 patients who underwent IVF / ICSI-ET at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Huzhou MCH from October 2010 to October 2013 were retrospectively analyzed to investigate the effect of chromosome polymorphism on assisted reproductive outcome. Results Of the 626 patients, 28 (4.47%) had karyotypes. Further analysis of these found that chromosome polymorphism patients fertilization rate, normal fertilization rate, high-quality embryos rate and the control group no significant difference in clinical pregnancy rate and per-transplant live birth rate and the patient was no significant difference, but the abortion rate was significantly higher than the control group. Conclusions Chromosome karyotype polymorphism group embryo outcome improves abortion rate in patients with ART.
