The characteristics of the cooling tower nozzle flow line and radial water distribution have been discussed in many nozzle tests. It has achieved certain results in some aspects and has been applied and referenced by relevant departments. Due to the fact that the projected area of sputtered water flow is mostly overlapped, there are different degrees of cross-flow effects of streamlines, which is one of the current concerns of design workers. During the design of the countercurrent tower, we strive to achieve a reasonable crossover of the nozzle splash flow to promote water distribution.
