英国女护士南丁格尔是欧美近代护理学和护士教育的创始人之一。她曾于一八五○年在德国学习护理,一八五四年在克里米亚战争中带领三十八名护士亲赴前线参加对伤病员的抢救、护理工作。她首建医院管理制度,为提高护理质量、降低伤病员的死亡率作出了卓越的贡献。一八六○年她在伦敦创办了英国第一所护士学校,推动了西欧各国的护理工作和护士教育的发展。《护理工作笔记》等是她留给后人的杰作。
Nightingale, a British female nurse, is one of the founders of modern nursing and nurse education in Europe and the United States. She studied nursing in Germany in 1850 and led 38 nurses in the Crimean War in 1854 to the front to participate in the rescue and care of sick and wounded patients. She founded the hospital management system and made outstanding contributions to improving the quality of care and reducing the mortality rate of sick and wounded people. In 1860 she founded Britain’s first nurse school in London, promoting the development of nursing and nurse education in Western European countries. “Nursing work notes” is her masterpiece left for future generations.
