China Academy of Fishery Sciences Information Work Seminar was held in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province from January 20 to January 21, 1999. Twenty-three representatives from the Institute of Integrated Information Center and the institutes responsible for information work attended the meeting. Zhang Mingyu, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the meeting and made an important speech. The main topic of the meeting was to convey the spirit of the “National Conference on Scientific and Technological Information on Agricultural Informatization” recently held by the Ministry of Science and Technology to discuss how to seize the new situation
