马戎,1950年出生,回族。北京大学社会学系教授、北京大学社会学人类学研究所教授、博士生导师。1987年获得美国布朗大学社会学博士学位,同年回国在北京大学任教。1990—1991年在哈佛大学费正清中心从事博士后研究。主要研究领域为:民族与族群社会学、人口迁移与城市化、教育社会学等。主要论著有:《西藏的人口与社会》(1996)、《民族与社会发展》(2001)、《社会学的应用研究》(2002)、《民族社会学》(2004)等。
Ma Rong, born in 1950, Hui. Peking University professor of sociology, Peking University Institute of Sociology anthropology Professor, doctoral tutor. In 1987 received a doctorate in sociology from Brown University in the United States, in the same year returned to teach at Peking University. 1990-1991 PhD in postdoctoral research at Harvard University Center for Equity. The main research areas are: ethnic and ethnic sociology, population migration and urbanization, educational sociology and so on. His main articles include: Population and Society in Tibet (1996); National and Social Development (2001); Applied Sociology (2002); Ethnociology (2004).
