初中英语在整个英语学习过程中起着至关重要的作用,有承上启下的意义,而英语阅读课是训练学生阅读理解能力的主要形式,同时也是巩固学生学习新语法和巩固日常学习知识的一种有效途径,因此,对初中英语阅读课程的教学必须也应该引起我们教师的足够重视。而如何对初中英语阅读课进行教学,有效开发初中英语阅读课的潜力资源也就成了我们教师首要解决的问题,本文从阅读前激发学生阅读兴趣、阅读过程中的有效指导和教学、阅读后的巩固和复习三个方面出发,深入探讨如何开发初中英语阅读课的潜力资源,以形成和谐、高效的英语阅读课程教学。
