新课标的一条基本理念是,体现数学的人文价值。认为数学课程要介绍数学发展的历史、应用和趋势,以帮助学生了解数学在人类文明发展过程中的作用,逐步形成正确的数学观。要达到这一目标,在中学数学中对数学史料仅仅作“介绍”是不够的,而应连同其背后隐藏的思想方法、对人格成长的启发作用等等,“渗透”在数学课程和教学过程中。
