通过总结目前大学英语诗歌教学的现状提出现有的教学手段与方法存在的问题,指出作为探寻文本可阐释空间的符号学对于诗歌教学有着重要指导意义,教师应该有意识地从符号学角度帮助学生领会诗歌语言中普遍传达的陌生化效果,进而提出如何启发学生尝试从符号学的角度看待诗歌的不可译性。这样的诗歌教学在激发英语学习兴趣的同时,也是对学生批判性思维的一种培养。
By summarizing the current situation of college English poetry teaching, this paper puts forward the existing problems of teaching methods and methods. It points out that semiology, as a space for interpreting texts, plays an important guiding role in teaching poetry. Teachers should consciously help students to understand from the perspective of semiotics The unfamiliar effect universally conveyed in poetry language suggests how to inspire students to try to interpret the untranslatability of poetry from a semiotic point of view. This kind of poetry teaching stimulates the interest of English learning as well as cultivates students’ critical thinking.
