日本高层对日元汇率急剧贬 值的主要解释,是其“符合 日本当前经济的基本面”。那么,日本经济的基本面是什么样的状况呢?对这一点,在日本,在东亚国家,都存在不同的看法。在日本,悲观论颇有市场,夸大其经济衰退给自己带来困难的舆论不在少数,日本政府也以此寻求亚洲国家对日元贬值的谅解。在东亚国家,则有舆论认为日本政府有故意渲染其衰退严重性之嫌,日本的衰退其实是一种假象,是出于政府战略选择的考虑,日本经济目前的形势是“老虎起跳前的后坐”。

In East Asian countries, there are public opinions that the Japanese government deliberately renders it as a sign of the seriousness of the recession. Japan’s recession is in fact an illusion because of government strategic choices. The current situation in Japan’s economy is “the sit-back before the tiger took off ”.
