每一百个雇员有十台复印机除了某些保留以外,工厂领导人对工厂自动化的态度普遍是积极的,机器人销售量和自动化生产系统销售量的增长清楚说明了这一点。而对办公室自动化态度就很不一样,无疑部分反映了这样的事实,即只是在最近才能买到适用于日语以及满足日本人需要的设备。西方企业领导人对办公室自动化的态度同样很分歧,因为他们也感到一方面需要减少办公室中的人手,同时认为办公室自动化系统还不够完善。
There are ten copying machines for every 100 employees. In addition to certain reservations, factory leaders are generally positive about factory automation. This is clearly illustrated by the growth in sales of robots and automated production systems. The attitude toward office automation is very different, and it undoubtedly partly reflects the fact that it was only in the recent past that equipment suitable for Japanese and Japanese needs was available. The attitude of Western business leaders toward office automation is also very different, because they also feel that they need to reduce the number of people in the office, and that the office automation system is not perfect.
