虫草酒处方中七种药材均系补益类药,其中,补阳者有冬虫夏草、肉苁蓉;补气者有人参、黄芪;补血者有首乌、元肉;补阴者有枸杞子。补益类药能扶正固本,补虚祛邪.是中医药学独特的理论体系和实践经验的精华。补者,补其虚也。虚证乃是外邪或内伤所致人体正气受损和体内阴阳气血动态平衡失常的证侯。四类虚证与用药和现代医学的免疫调节、神经——体液调节、内分泌尤其是性激素的调节、生化代谢等有非常大的近似性。
