心理学研究表明:学生的学习过程是智力因素和非智力因素共同参与的过程。非智力因素对智力因素起着推动、维持、调节、定型、补偿等作用。在社会教学中,恰当地运用现代教育媒体,以其声、形、色等表现形式刺激感官,再借助其化静为动、化虚为实、化远为近、化难为易、化抽象为具体的多种表现手法,就能有效地调动学生的非智力因素参与学习,帮助学生更真实生动、具体形象地感知理解教学内容,启迪学生思维,与学生的智力因素相辅相成,达到比翼齐飞的教学效果。
