Check the stability of rock formation has always been Qiaopan Qianting approach, mainly based on miners experience and mine specific conditions to determine whether it is safe. However, this approach, while generally effective, can sometimes go wrong. Some factors tend to make serious differences between stable and unstable rock formations. From 1979 to 1980, nearly 100 miners were killed and 2,500 were injured as a result of roof-top and sheet gang accidents. Most of the casualties were young miners under the age of 30 and those under five years of age. The purpose of this study was to find an acoustic method that can measure the stability quickly, reliably and objectively. In order to make miners easy to accept, instrumentation and measurement techniques should be simple, practical, reliable and durable. For this purpose, low-frequency acoustics is used
