李宗道,1914年11月出生在上海市的职员家庭。他16岁丧父,靠亲朋接济上学,1934年考入南京金陵大学农学院农艺系(主系)、农经系(副系)学习。大学期间,因日寇入侵和经济困难,曾两度辍学谋生,因而他心灵深处埋下了要为祖国强盛,顽强拼搏的种子。1942年大学毕业,1946年在国立南京临时大学农学院任副教授,1947年在该院任教授,1949年任上海光华大学农事试验场主任。
Li Zongdao, born in November 1914 in Shanghai, staffed families. He was 16 years old, lost his father, rely on friends and fellowship to school, in 1934 admitted to the Nanjing Agricultural University Department of Agronomy (main line), Agricultural Economics (Associate) learning. During his university studies, he twice dropped out of school to make a living because of the invasion by the Japanese invaders and economic difficulties. As a result, his heart was deeply rooted for the seeds to be strong and indomitable for the motherland. 1942 graduated from university in 1946, Nanjing Agricultural University College temporary associate professor, in 1947 in the hospital as professor, 1949 Shanghai Guanghua University agricultural test field director.
